Wheel and Axle:
In this machine, simple two things are attached which are wheel and axle. When this machine will be operating it will transfer force from one part to another. This machine is mostly used for pulling up buckets of water from the well and weights. Doorknob, screwdriver, water wheel, and egg beater are the daily basis examples of wheel and axle. In history, the wheel is considered one of the most important inventions.
The first development of the wheel is that heavy rocks were moved from one place to another using roller. When the object moves forward the roller from the back is moved and put in Infront of the object.
Pulley:
In this machine wheel, rope and rod are used to make the task easier. Pulleys are used in every phase of life. These are also used in the industries. A cargo lift is the main example of a pulley. There are three types of a pulley.
- Fixed: fixed pulley is attached with a structure and has not the ability to move. When the force is applied the rope moves over the groove.
- Moveable: Moveable pulley is that where one pulley is fixed while the other pulley can move up and down. Modern elevators, construction cranes are the example of the moveable pulley.
- Compound:This is also known as a combination pulley. This pulley is designed in such a way that effort will be less than the weight of the load.
Lever:
This is a simple machine that is used to move a heavy object. First-class, second-class, and third-class are the three types of lever that are useful in different parts of the industry. Each type of lever has different benefits. This is a long bar, one end of the bar is placed under the object so that when you press the other end of the object, the object will move easily from one place to another place. Pilers, brooms, teeth-totters are the daily examples of level, while baseball bats, golf clubs are the sports equipment examples.
