Kareri Lake trek takes you to the height of 9,650 ft where you will find the hidden freshwater lake of Kareri. The high-altitude glacial lake is situated in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. The melting snow of the glacial peak of Minkiani originates from this lake with the most beautiful snow-clad mountains surrounding it.  Guna Devi Temple

 Guna Devi temple at a distance of 8 km from McLeodganj is another famous 2 km trail. Starting from Naddi village, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali and considered sacred by many pilgrims and Gaddis. It offers a stunning view of the Dal Lake and Dhauladhar ranges.

 Sunset Point

 Sunset point is a hit among the photo avid and nature enthusiasts alike. Situated in McLeodganj, it gives you the best view of the sunset among the snow-peak mountains.

 Kareri Lake trek is an all round the year trek. The summers are best for the pleasant hiking experience with warm mornings and cold nights.
