How Do Students Feel about Going Back to School?

The world has seen an unusual period, uncertain time, and unbelievable routine – all because of the unexpected COVID19 pandemic. Schools and students are going through what maybe the worst time ever in their life! They never expected to witness the closing of school, online classes, virtual exams, and many more.

Students were happy to take science homework help from their mentors and play games on their playground. But they have never imagined that their world will be locked inside their rooms, and they have to interact with their friends through PCs, mobiles, and laptops.

Even they have to take computer science assignment help virtually. After so many discussions and meetings regarding opening the school, finally, 2021 has seen the ray of hope to open the institutions back to the ‘new normal’ and adopt crucial changes. For many, it is the first time they have been back in a classroom since March 2020.

Many students were thrilled to go back to the ‘new normal’ and meet their best friends face to face. Some were thrilled to be with their peers and teachers again, while others had difficulty in adjusting.

Overcoming the difficulties

Most of the students agreed that nothing is better and more interesting than going back to school and meeting the teachers and friends. Despite overcoming the difficulties, many students are interested in pursuing their courses through online classes. Though they took the help of online assignment writing services throughout the pandemic, they shared that it is more interesting to do such assignments in classes in front of their teachers. While many students were excited to go back to school, others shared and agreed that going back to school in an ongoing pandemic feels ‘far from normal’. Honestly, the first day felt like a ‘field trip.’

Even there are essay writing services available on the internet, students still prefer taking the help of their mentors face to face when they feel confused.

Let’s shed some light on what students feel about going back to school.

Students’ feedback

Hanya Ijaz, 12th Grade, Dublin, Ohio

Hanya Ijaz is a rising senior at Hilliard Davidson in Dublin, Ohio, where she will attend remote classes in this upcoming summer if the situation is going to be worst. She is also taking online classes at Ohio State University, which will be solely online. There is no offline class available as of now. While she finds face-to-face classes more exciting, she also values the in-person courses that are appropriate to gain much knowledge. She knows that online learning is safer and allows her to independently create a schedule that works for her.

Though she prefers online options like research paper writing services, she believes in-person classes are more effective.

According to her,

“I think that I have gained many skills from online platforms, though much difference exists between the school and online classes. For example, I should be more organized now when I join the school again. The hardest part is staying interested and motivated. Without sticking to a schedule, I easily get habituated with flexibility. Still, when everything is becoming normal, I have to push myself to get things done and stay on top of my responsibilities. Also, while adopting online classes, I got more time to nurture my personal hobbies and interests. But joining schools get me bounded to a specific time.”

Annabel Morley, 12th Grade, Baltimore, Marylbound

Annabel Morley is also a rising senior at the Baltimore School of Arts. Annabel’s final year of high school was entirely online. However, she has now become a regular school-going student. Although keeping the present situation in mind where the COVID cases are again rising, Annabel worries about how engaging and supportive offline learning will be this year in 2021. Though she believes that more time at home means she gets more time for her passion. She can pursue her artistic interests.

“I was not really sure how it felt to go back to school. Honestly, I am still afraid of attending school as both my parents are at risk, and I wouldn’t want to put them, or my friend’s families, at risk. But on the other hand, the hardest part of attending a school remotely means understanding and accepting the difficulties. I was most worried about understanding and figuring out the problems related to different subjects – especially in Math. But also the fact is, online classes are also engaging.”

A Short-Lived ‘Return To Normalcy’ for Some Students

According to various researches, students say that, when it comes to taking homework help, especially science homework help, students feel much more confident taking such helps from online platforms. Though the return of in-person classes is far different experience than before the epidemic – but for some students, the recovery was also far briefer than expected. Even when they are working on assignment writing services, the online options are much helpful to assist every student.

But how it feels when you are going back to school. What are the things you need to keep in mind?

Discussing the consequences related to the classes

After a long gap, the primary task is to discover and identify the problems and work on them when you are in school. You need to take assistance like computer science assignment help from your mentors. Also, you need to discuss the problems.

Feeling good on Day One

It’s the first day after spending a long time in the home, so make your first day special by giving your friends and best teachers some souvenirs. You can add some chocolates to your gifts. You can also make your first day special by wearing an outfit you like – something like a new t-shirt or new sneakers you have got from your parents in spring vacation.

Get oriented

Going back to school can offer an unimaginable happiness. Therefore, you have to utilize the day fully and make it memorable. Remember, the first day of your school will be something that again teaches you to get oriented while you almost forget during the online classes. Back to the proper orientation is much needed. You need to have your lunch at the perfect time. Check your stuff in your locker when lunch starts.

A school life makes you more oriented towards your duty and goal. Thus, an institution is the best way to learn self-disciplined.

To conclude,

There is nothing more dynamic and exciting than getting back to school. A face-to-face class is more effective when it comes to learning the subjects. But online courses are also fruitful to many students, as they think that this technique is quite helpful. At least, the method assists them in pursuing their extracurricular activities. Online classes also help to grow their interest in many other things. Even they can take homework help online, if they want.

Many students think that choosing in-person classes establishes a ‘sense of normalcy’. It helps to gain a better learning experience. Students feel that going back to school helps remember the old days and cherish the memories. However, they don’t get the vibe of attending classes in a normal period as they have to wear masks, maintain social distance, be unable to share their lunch, and go through thermal check-ups regularly.
