1    Kitchen tool you’ll need to make Italian Cream Cake: An electric mixer, either a stand mixer or a hand mixer whatever you have on hand. Large mixing bowls, measuring cups and spoons and a whisk to sift together the dry ingredients, plus a large silicone spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl while mixing. A sheet pan and chopping tool to prep the nuts for roasting.

2   Ingredients you’ll need to make homemade Italian Cream Cake: All-purpose flour, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, salted butter, baking powder, baking soda, buttermilk, eggs, vanilla extract, almond extract, sweetened flaked coconuts and pecans. 1/2cup butter softened

1cup Sweetener

4 large eggs at room temperature, separated

1/2cup heavy cream room temperature

1teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups almond flour

1/2 cup shredded coconut

1/2cup chopped pecans

1/4cup coconut flour

2 baking powder

1/2 salt

1/4 cream of tartar

8ounces cream cheese softened

1/2cup butter softened

1cup powdered serve sweetener

1 vanilla extract

1/2cup heavy whipping cream at room temperature

Garnish

2 shredded coconut lightly toasted

2 chopped pecans lightly toasted

How to make this delicious Best Italian cream cake

Cake:
1   In the first step preheat your oven to 320 f and grease well with butter on two cake pans.

2   Line the cake pans with parchment paper and grease with butter with the help of a brush.

3  Take a large bowl and add melted butter and sweetener and whisk till well combined.

4  Beat in the egg yolk; take one at a time and mix well after the addition of each.

5   Now beat in the vanilla extract and heavy cream.

6  Take another medium bowl and add Almond flour, shredded coconut, chopped pecans, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt and whisk together till well combined.

7   Now beat it into the butter mixture till combined properly.

8  Take a large bowl and beat the egg whites with the cream of tartar till stiff peaks form.

9   Carefully fold into the batter of the cake.

10  Separate the batter into each pan and pour to the edges.

11   Bake at least 30 to 40 minutes till the cakes look golden brown or the toothpick comes out clean.

12  Remove from the oven and let it cool down completely.

13  Remove the parchment paper from the layers and put the cake on the plate or tray.

Frosting: Best Italian cream cake

1. Take a large bowl and whisk the cream cheese and butter with a hand mixer till smooth.

2. Now slowly add the whipping cream into it.

To Assemble:

1. Gently place the bottom layer onto the serving plate and cover the top with frosting. Carefully add the second layer and frost the top.

2. Sprinkle the top with shredded coconut or coconut pecans and refrigerate it for about half an hour to let it set.
