Make Money Affiliate Marketing
Okay I am going to give you my official affiliate marketing strategy filled with tips, daily plans, and mistakes to avoid.
Affiliate Marketing Tips
- First focus on your main keywords and building content for your blog. If you can rank in search engines for competitive keywords then you can make long-term profits.
- Stay consistent and do not miss days often. Google likes blogs that are updated multiple times per day.
- Always try to encourage visitors to share your content. You might even want to offer a free eBook to those who follow you on twitter, like you on facebook, or follow you on Google+.
- Target certain keywords and stay narrow in the beginning. Try long-tail keywords with around 1,000 searches per month.
- Build back links to your blog every single day. It only takes about 30 minutes to comment on 10-15 blogs once you know how to find them.
- Pick products and niches that you have an interest in. Although it is not necessary, it helps when you are first starting.
- Pick products that have professional sales pages and plenty of affiliate tools.
- Look at a website like jvnotifypro.com to find out about product launches. If you are the first to promote the new big product, it can really go a long way.
- Work on one product first, then expand. The biggest mistake I made and consistently see is people going too broad. Focus on one narrow niche at first and try to make money in it.
- Your ultimate goal should be your email list. Marketers who can build a large email list can make thousands of dollars every time they send out an email. Plus you can get loads of traffic every time you update your website.
Affiliate Marketing Daily Plan
Here are three daily plans that I have used to build content, links, and find targeted leads. These are in no particular order but they give you some ideas on how to gain traffic. The main thing to focus on are your social profiles, email list, and website traffic. You should be trying to get traffic from as many different sources as possible.
You could honestly do what it says in Day 1 for five straight days and then do Day 2 only once per week. I am just giving you some ideas and ways that I spend my own time. Also, never limit yourself to 1 blog post, that should be your minimum.
Day 1
– Create 1 blog post around your keywords.
– Submit blog post link to Twitter, Facebook, Google+, StumbleUpon, Digg, and Dropjack.
– Comment on 10-15 blogs. Look for CommentLuv blogs and you will find them faster.
– Use Dynamic Tweets to schedule 10-20 tweets related to your niche.
– Post on a forum related to your niche 10 times. Make sure a link to your website is in the signature.
– Answer 5 questions on Yahoo Answers related to your niche and link to your website in the source.
Day 2
– Create 1 blog post around your keywords.
– Submit blog post link to Twitter, Facebook, Google+, StumbleUpon, Digg, and Dropjack.
– Create a PowerPoint presentation based on your blog post and upload it to Slideshare.
– Create a YouTube video using the PowerPoint presentation and upload to YouTube.
– Embed the Slideshare presentation and YouTube video onto your blog post.
– Buy a back link Fiverr gig to your YouTube video.
Day 3
– Create 1 blog post around your keywords.
– Submit blog post link to Twitter, Facebook, Google+, StumbleUpon, Digg, and Dropjack.
– Create an email list through Aweber if you do not already have one.
– Buy a PLR product related to your niche at Master Resale Rights.
– Create a squeeze page with an email sign-up form to your list.
– Load 7-10 autoresponder messages.
Follow these three Affiliate marketing game plans and you will definitely get traffic. It might take 60 days of hard work, but it will all pay off in the long run.
10 Affiliate Marketing Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not continuously change your niche and create new blogs. Focus on one thing at a time and try to make it profitable.
- Never try to sell products that are old. Always look for new product launches and try to switch things up. Also, the products you sell must have a well designed sales page that converts well.
- Always write for website visitors and use your own quality, unique content. If you do not want to write, you can hire some good freelance writers online and post that content. Either way, you want to make sure it is of a high quality and unique.
- Start narrow and broaden as you become more successful. The larger your target market is at the beginning, the harder it will be for you to be successful.
- Never put your blog to the side for a month. If you stop updating your blog you will lose search engine rankings faster than you can imagine.
- Sloppy web design does not sell. There are plenty of free WordPress themes to make your website look professional.
- Do not sell low quality products. It is likely people will just ask for a refund and you will not get paid.
- Instead of focusing on research, just do the work. The more you look through forums, watch YouTube videos, and read through other blogs, the less time you will spend working on your own blog.
- Focusing on TOO many keywords can spell doom for you. Start with one keyword and narrow it down as much as possible.
- Not starting a list. If you are not doing email marketing and creating a list full of subscribers, then you are missing out on profits.
